ARMISTICE CENTENARY GRANTS – EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

10 October 2017

Federal Member for Blair, Shayne Neumann MP, today called for expressions of interest for funding under the Armistice Centenary Grants Program from eligible organisations in the electorate of Blair.

The grants program supports projects or activities that commemorate the centenary of the end of the First World War (11 November 2018).

“The Blair electorate will receive up to $50,000 for local projects that appropriately commemorate the end of the war 100 years ago,” Mr Neumann said.

“One-off grants of between $3,000 and $50,000 are available and I encourage organisations in Blair who want to contribute to a significant period in our nation’s history to submit an expression of interest to my office.”

“A Community Consultation Committee will assist me in reviewing all proposals and inviting applications to be submitted to the Department of Veterans’ Affairs,”

“Expressions of interest in the grants can be lodged with my office by 30 October 2017.”

“Successful proposals will be invited to apply for funding from 11 November 2017”
