SHAYNE NEUMANN CELEBRATES MOBILE OFFICE MILESTONE IN SOMERSET REGION

04 February 2019

Member for Blair, Shayne Neumann MP, hosted his 250th mobile office since his re-election in Fernvale on Wednesday.

The milestone was recognised at the Old Fernvale Bakery, the last stop of the day after mobile offices in Kilcoy, Moore, Toogoolawah and Esk.

Mr Neumann returned to the region on Friday to visit Walloon, Rosewood, Marburg, Coominya and Lowood.

Mr Neumann said his country run of mobile offices gave him the opportunity to meet face-to-face with residents from the rural parts of Blair who can’t easily travel.

“I’m in the area to meet with people in their own neighbourhood about the local issues that I can see while I’m on the ground.

“I get a really good turnout in the towns I visit; people really appreciate seeing their local MP in their region.

“If anyone didn’t get a chance to come along, I’d welcome the opportunity to meet with them in my office in Brassall.

As well as giving people in the Somerset Region the chance to discuss Federal Government issues, complimentary copies of the Blair Seniors and Blair Disability Links Directories were made available.
