The RAEMUS Rover Off Road Racing group has secured $48,000 in funding to support younger veterans.
Federal Member for Blair Shayne Neumann congratulated the group on its Supporting Younger Veterans grant through the Department of Veterans Affairs.
“RAEMUS Rover Off Road Racing provides social activities based on adrenaline and adventure, aimed at meeting the needs of today’s younger veterans,” Mr Neumann said.
“The group is based at Willowbank in the region’s motor-racing precinct and has a strong track-record providing exciting, fun and fast activities for veterans.
“Their programs see participants working on and off the off-road track, with its right and precarious bends and corners.
“This creates great fellowship with others who share similar military backgrounds.
“Importantly, it builds self-confidence.
I spoke with the President, Ian Baker and congratulated him on the grant for this fantastic program for younger veterans.”
