Member for Blair, Shayne Neumann MP, has congratulated six local organisations on successful applications to the Stronger Communities Programme.
Mr Neumann said all the organisations nominated by the independent Blair committee had tremendous merit and he was pleased to see them progress through the process.
“Organisations like United Welsh Blackstone Church have been in helping people in our local community for generations,
“I’m pleased they’ll be able to extend their community accessibility to people living with a disability.”
Mr Neumann said increasing disability access in our community was of enormous importance and was a priority for his committee.
“Children in Redbank Plains who were previously unfairly excluded from participating in early childhood education because of issues with access will soon have the same opportunities.”
Successful organisations include:
United Welsh Blackstone Church |
$20,000 for a disability access ramp and refurbishments |
C&K Redbank Plains |
$19,000 for a compliant disability access ramp |
