Member for Blair, Shayne Neumann MP, visited the Returned Services League of Australia (Queensland Branch) Toogoolawah Sub-branch incorporated to offer his congratulations on the successful grant of $40,691.00 under the Veteran and Community Grants program (V&CG).

The V&CG program supports and promotes community activities beneficial to the healthy lifestyle of veterans, independent living and support for carers of veterans.

Toogoolawah Returned Services League Sub-branch President, Doug Cook, was on hand to meet with Mr Neumann.

“This grant will help Toogoolawah Sub-branch to upgrade their kitchen facilities and greatly assist the activities and services they provide to the local veteran community”, Mr Neumann said.

“I commend Toogoolawah Sub-branch on the continuing great work they do for veterans and the wider community and wish them every success in the future”
